La Taska – Sidrería was born out of a project by two brothers with Asturian roots who, with a lot of hope, a deep attachment to the region and extensive knowledge of Northern Spanish food, decided to open a cider house in 2007 in the Benimaclet neighbourhood in Valencia.

Because our customers liked our cooking so much, we decided to expand the project in 2009 by opening another restaurant in Cánovas, an area in Valencia well known for good restaurants, with a new location in Conde Altea street. As a result, we took our core values to the city centre without losing our spirit, our philosophy or our work ethic.

From the day we opened, you could see the philosophy of the house, which takes form in our commitment to quality and ongoing innovation that translates into a continually improving product and service that make it possible to enjoy excellent food bursting with flavour with the best food/wine combinations with cider as the centre piece.

The quality of our food is the direct outcome of the quality of the ingredients. We use artisanal, preferably unprocessed, products with Designation of Origin. Quality also depends on the quality of the cooking and preparation processes and we always avoid changing essential properties of the ingredients like the flavour, texture and aroma.

Quality service comes from our concern with human resources and the strong emphasis we put on training. Likewise, attentive service, really caring about customer satisfaction and innovations in service (electric pourers, greater speed as a result of using computers, etc.), are among the most important things for us and they all contribute towards creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Because of all that, we can safely say that the Taska Sidrería has been able to earn a place in its customers' hearts and become an experience they'd recommend to a friend that today transcends the boundaries of the neighbourhood in which it was born.
